It will be very limited, in fact, only five examples will be built – all manually.
Pininfarina will only build 150 examples of the Battista hyper, including the five Anniversarios, with production starting later in 2020.
Anniversario celebrates 90 years since Battista Farina founded Pininfarina, a building and design company.
It was supposed to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, but the event was canceled due to a coronavirus outbreak.
“Batista Anniversario, named in his honor on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the start of work at the restaurant carrozzeria, is a glorious way of connecting our past with the future of cars.”
“Faster than many racing cars”
Powered by four electric motors that generate 1,900 horsepower, Anniversario has a top speed that is higher than the regular Batista speed, increasing to 217 mph.
The supercar will accelerate from 0 to 300 km / h (186 mph) in less than 12 seconds, and will be faster than the current Formula 1 car in the second-second speed race at 0-100 km / h (62 mph).
The company says Anniversario will have a zero emission range of more than 310 miles.
Each of the five cars will take several weeks to manually paint by Pininfarina artists as the body is dismantled and reassembled three times.
Former Nikola Heidfeld driver, Formula 1, tests Batista and admires what he saw.
“I have tried the world’s fastest road and racing car,” the 42-year-old said. “I’ve never driven anything strong like Batista.”
“Batista is faster than many racing cars, but it is not a pure racing machine. Driving in all situations is its primary focus. We will now focus our time on testing and developing Batista to offer a vehicle at the forefront of technological potential and innovation.”
